Everything from first pattern to packed boxes.

You can start at any point. Plenty of brands come to us with a finished pattern and only need the production run.

Patternmaking

The pattern decides everything that happens after it. A bad pattern cannot be sewn out of trouble, so we take the time here.

  • First pattern from a sketch paper and digital
  • Copying a garment you send us rub off
  • Corrections after a fit per round
  • Digitizing TK system
  • Grading TK size range
  • Marker and fabric yield per style
  • Tech pack build on request

Samples

Samples are sewn on the same machines that will sew your run. A sample made somewhere else is only a guess at what you will get.

  • Muslin mockup when fabric is costly
  • First sample in your fabric included
  • Fit rounds TK included
  • Pre production sample you sign off
  • Sealed sample kept on the floor
  • Turnaround TK working days

Cutting

Fabric is relaxed before it is spread. Skip that step and a knit shrinks on the table, so every panel after the first comes out short.

  • Fabric relaxation before spreading
  • Spreading TK max ply
  • Cutting TK method
  • Bundling and ticketing by size and colour
  • Shrinkage testing on request

Sewing

Production managers read this list more closely than anything else on the site, so keep it honest and keep it current.

  • Single needle lockstitch TK heads
  • Overlock and serger TK heads
  • Coverstitch TK heads
  • Bartack TK
  • Buttonhole and button sew TK
  • Blindstitch TK
  • Snaps and grommets TK

Finishing and packing

Every unit is measured against the sealed sample, because that is the garment everybody in the room already agreed on.

  • Trim and clean every unit
  • Press TK equipment
  • Quality check against sealed sample
  • Care and content labels applied
  • Hangtags applied
  • Polybag and carton to your spec
  • Direct to retail packing on request

Troubleshooting

Some orders reach us after going wrong somewhere else. If a previous manufacturer left you with damaged or unfinished garments, we repair them on our floor and check every unit before it goes back out.

  • Repairs to damaged garments every unit
  • Finishing incomplete runs from any stage
  • Quality checking piece by piece
  • Rework of a full run a few pieces or thousands
  • Made at another factory first not a problem

Not sure which of these you need? Send what you have.
